Waging a good warfare with prophetic words given to us

PASTOR OLUWASEYI OSANYINBI

There must be a foundation for learning. For a new information to be assimilated, there must be a base information. However, sometimes we get some information for future use.Young believers have a duty of knowing scriptures from Genesis to Revelation even if they don’t get to understand everything in the short run. Demand will be placed on that knowledge later as maturity sets in.

I TIMOTHY 1:1-17
In building a tabernacle, God was precise about the form and dimensions He gave to Moses. Prophecies went ahead of Timothy and there was no way he would war a good warfare without paying attention to them. Paul had to charge him to pay attention to those prophecies.

HEBREWS 10:7
We have to acquaint ourselves with the things written concerning us in the volume of the book. Jesus did that to ensure God’s will was done concerning His life. Many people pursue visions and supernatural things forgetting that certain things have been spoken about them.

JUDGES 6:12
Gideon did not believe that he was a Mighty Man of Valour even when the Angel of God told him so.As parents, we have to pay attention to the words that are spoken concerning our children. Naming ceremonies should not be mere ceremonies. Parents should pay attention to the authentic words of God spoken concerning their babies. Prophecies give us direction.

HABBAKUK 2:2
If you read the wrong prophecies, you will be walking a path that is not meant for you.

I TIMOTHY 1:18
It is good to have prophecies and to write them down. However, we should hold faith knowing that those prophecies are real and achievable.Faith is useless without a good conscience.

II PETER 1:5
If we limit ourselves to faith without the necessary additions, we will be barren and unfruitful.Blindness is a product of having faith without the recommended additives. It also makes us forget who we are and so we become failures.
