There is nothing the dark world can copy that will be exactly like how God made them. As believers, it is wrong for us to take our examples from the world. God has the purest form of everything we need to replicate. Many a time, our innocent actions and inactions open up certain portals. As such, we need to pay attention to our attitudes if we want the right portals to be opened to us.
PSALM 24:3 – 4: “3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.“;
HEBREWS 4:16: “16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”;
I JOHN 1:7: “7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
Access will always be denied anyone who has no clean hands and pure hearts. People who have lifted their souls to vanity and have sworn deceitfully will never have access to God. People often pray without getting answers because their prayers don’t reach God. Only those who have clean hands, pure hearts, souls not lifted to vanity and have not sworn deceitfully will be vindicated or have positive verdict. Walking in the light guarantees our fellowship with the Father of Light and that is the only way God can take sides with us. Before heaven can comes down, we must go up. There must be an ascent before a descent. Jacob had an experience in which angels were ascending and descending.
HEBREWS 12:22-23: ” 22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect ”
EPHESIANS 1:21: “21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:”
At Mount Zion, we come to fellowship with an innumerable company of angels. All through scriptures, we have a wide array of angels with awesome operations. We need to understand how to align with the angels that have been sent to minister for us. Thankfully, Jesus obtained a more excellent way than all the angels put together (Hebrews 1:4). The general assembly, the Church of the first born written in heaven and the spirits of just men made perfect are made up of ancient saints. From time to time, we need to confer with these saints in matters in which they excelled in order to find direction in difficult situations. We need the Holy Spirit to download their ancient wisdom to us. God sits on the throne as Judge but we are enjoined to always come boldly to the throne of grace. We can only approach the throne boldly when we know the right proceedings of the courts of heaven.
JAMES 5:17: ” 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.”
Prayer grants us access to the throne room of heaven and faith makes prayer effective. We need to understand the dynamics of prayer. Elijah was not superhuman. He was just like anyone of us but he prayed earnestly that there would not be a drop a rain for three and a half years and he obtained the verdict. As a result, he was bold enough to make a declaration to that effect. We need to understand the critical role of prayers in the harvest of the last days. We won’t do so much in this era without praying earnestly. We need to pray earnestly both individually and corporately.
