Fear

There are very few people that are not held by fear. Going through scripture, there is a constitution in God that those who are fearful will not make heaven.

Revelation 21:8

The beginning of any relationship with God is that we must own-up that we are a sinner. Owing up opens the door of mercy unto us.(In Reference to  Zacheus and Jacob)

1 Samuel 15:24

Fear is a natural human response to an unpredictable outcome.

The fear that God will judge is not that of the unpredicted outcome but  of that which makes men go against the will or commandment of God in order to satisfy men’s (human) opinion.

God designed that men will only fear Him. Therefore, when men begin to fear things outside of God, he begins to do things outside of God.

Psalm 21:1-3

The focus of the psalmist was on God not on man. We have to learn how to take our eyes off our challenges and focus on God. Peter began to sink at the very moment he stopped looking at Jesus. We must learn to train ourselves to keep focus through the little challenges that come our way.

Luke 12:5

The spirit of fear is very important but who we fear, matters. Our major problem as humans is that we do not fear God; rather, we fear men. Most people lack respect for the things of God because they do not understand that there is eternal consequence to every human action. The people that will be doomed for destruction are people who do not fear God but instead, fear men.

Luke 21:11, 1John 4:18

We must allow God to deal with our heart because the Bible recorded that fear has torment.
