That we are alive is really a miracle even if we do not appreciate it. The undoing of the children of Israelites was as a result of their lust. We should note that whenever pleasure drives anybody, such a person become guilty of idolatry. The things that happened to the children of Israelites were recorded for us as examples so that we would not fall the same bait.
The mystery of the communion is not only understanding what God is doing inside of us, but it is in we permitting Him to work inside of us. We as believers have ourselves locked in unity, such that if one fails or fall, it affects everybody. The communion should serve as a reminder of everything Jesus did and means to us. The mystery of the unity of God’s kingdom is in diversities. Each creation of God has a certain characteristic of God and getting to understand all of these would bring us to beginning to know God.
You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
Matthew 5:13-14;
We need grace to become what God wants us to be. God meant each of us to become a salt, a light and a city anywhere we are. As salts we should have a way to hold corruption around us. People should not be comfortable sinning around us. Death and darkness should not be operating in the lives of people around us. This is our destiny. The grace of God helps us to say yes to Righteousness.
