THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD (DAY II EVENING SESSION 2)

Daniel, in his days, having schooled in Babylon, rubbished the wisdom of Babylon in order to show that wisdom is not by learning but by God. We are in the days of superior wisdom. Wisdom that upturns the wisdom of man no matter how high sounding it may be.

Prophecy: “I am opening up a fountain. I am leaving the dimension of storage. This is the order of my river: When you drink, I will open up a river in you. A river will break forth in your belly. There is ample supply of the Holy Spirit”, says the Lord (John 7:37-39).

EPHESIANS 3:3

Hunger will take us to the place where we are caught up. The force that will take us to the place of being caught up is a passionate hunger for God. Spiritual death is in the place of self-sufficiency. Prayer is one way we show we are dependent on God. Prayer subjects us to process. Prayers don’t get things done since God has already made all things available for us in Christ. It only shows that we are dependent on God. People that are up cannot be scared with mundane things. For instance, Paul was not scared when he was going to face persecution in Jerusalem, even a confirmed prophet’s announcement was not enough to make him back down. The Three Hebrews defied the fiery furnace because they were so high above the things happening around them. Daniel took on the lions and brought to bear God’s purposes for his generation. To give up your will to God is to leave the options of your survival to Him like Daniel and the Three Hebrews did. The secret of pressing is having a personal life with God. We cannot ignore the pathway of prayers. It is a pathway that will chart the course for us.

The place of the High Calling is the place of union and friendship. It is a place of knowledge that is beyond cerebral knowledge. The High Calling is to conform to the Model that is Christ. Jesus came as a human to the earth so that humanity can be absorbed into Divinity.

Prophecy: “There is a wave of favour in our gathering that will cause the earth to fear God. There is a transaction going on in the Spirit concerning our lives that will shake the earth”, says the Lord (Psalm 67).
