THE DAYS OF RECONCILIATION

PASTOR OLUWASEYI OSANYINBI

What happened in the days of Elijah? In his days, there was great darkness everywhere especially in Israel as the government of the land was totally in support of the worship of Baal and there was no prophet that could confront darkness at that time. The people of Israel did not know who the true God is and they did wicked things. Ahab and Jezebel were two wicked rulers of Israel that time and Elijah rose and confronted them.

The days of darkness are upon us and we have got to arise fearlessly to declare God’s righteous rule. The days of Elijah is upon us when the Church must rise. The Church of today only prays when they are in trouble. The power and influence of the Ecclussia cannot be felt if we don’t begin to bring and exert God’s judgment on the earth. The Lord’s prayer says that “the will of the Lord must be done on earth as it is done in heaven” and we are the ones that will implement God’s will.

Ezekiel was confronted with a hopeless situation that involved dry bones. However, God inspired him to speak and dry bones became as flesh. +We are in the days when peace seems to be confined to the figments of human imagination but we have to summon courage like Ezekiel and drive away the dark of doubt.

All those saints and patriarchs that walked the earth are prototypes of what a church generation must do. Are we determined to complete that which God purposed us to do.

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.”

Ezekiel 37:4

God asked Ezekiel about the chance of the dry bones coming to life. The dry bones was a typology of the Children of Israel. Ezekiel spake and prophesied into dry bones and they become flesh. We must begin to see the things that are not right around us and speak good into it.

David rebuilt the temple of praise which God really liked. The temple of Solomon, in its magnificence, was nothing compared to the tabernacle of David. David also built the tabernacle of Praise in which there was free access and no separation of the ark of covenant and a Holy place. When God is too far off from our lives, we are building the wrong temple. We are in the days when men must begin to know God and do exploits. In our days, we must know God so much that we know what gives Him pleasure at every point in time. The days of “my pastor said” is over.

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

Ephesians 5:27

These are the days that the Lord is coming for a Church without wrinkle. These are the days of tough men and women who have dealt with the fear of death. The Bible has said no one has seen the Lord except the son and the Lord has declared him to us.

People around you may not measure up, but you need to reconcile yourself with God because our soul is very important to God. The word of the Lord was valid till eternity. These are the days of reconciliation. What separated us from God is sin, but the provision for our salvation has been prepared.

These are the days of reconciliation and we cannot afford to destroy our souls. No matter what we are going through, there is always a way of escape for those who believe. Jesus is greater than Elijah, Moses, Ezekiel, David, and everyone who had gone ahead of Him. He is our Advocate before God.

If God could freely give Jesus and the Holy Ghost, there is nothing he cannot give. The Kingdom of God that we should seek is the Person of the Holy Ghost.

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

John 14:13-14

Many of us are so lenient and are scared to confront sin. The days when our temple will be the temple of the living God.
