John 1:1-3
When the word of God comes to us, we receive the life of Christ which is encoded in His flesh and blood. The word that comes is sent to accomplish a certain purpose. The riches of God are not for us to just heap up for nothing; we need to find ways of making the word fulfil its purpose.
What the word of God does is to administer times and seasons to our advantage. The potency of God is in His word; there is no potency in Him found outside of His word. When the word of God keeps coming to you ceaselessly, it is a calling unto deeper things.
The riches of God are not in material things; they are embedded in His word. There is no glory without riches; the riches of God follow the demonstration of His power. The preaching or teaching of the word of God is as potent as prophecy from an anointed prophet of God.
As the word of God keeps coming to us, we must be intentional in stewarding it if we truly want to experience it’s manifestation. The messages that come from the altar are as potent as the prophecy of a standing prophet. What makes the difference is individuals that steward the word and makes use of it to their advantage.
Proverbs 119:105; Job 20:15
The riches of God have a pathway; if you don’t walk in that path, you cannot find them. The path is veiled for those who do not operate in the Spirit.
It takes God’s word to bring up riches from the inward parts of the belly. We have to deliberately sit down with the word so we can steward it properly for tremendous impact. We must learn never to take prophecies lightly.
The word of God are utterances which are downloaded from the portals of heaven and they are meant for our profiting.
2 Timothy 3:15,16
The word of God has capacity to bail us out in times of crisis; it is wisely devised to show us how to escape from troubles. The word of God makes us wise but we will not be able to benefit from this wisdom if we do not engage it through prayers and confessions of faith.
Just like Abraham who stewarded the word and got His riches from God, we can also steward the word for our profiting. Salvation is not just being saved from sin; it is total deliverance from everything that might be weighing us down. Scriptures are also prophecies designed to help in our godly formation. The scriptures reprove, they instruct and they correct us. Messages from God are essentially meant to instruct us and show us the way to go.
John 1:14
The word of God in every season is a body of life which is customised for each individual. The word kills the fleshly life in us and makes us alive to the Spirit of God. Every word that comes may be for a season or a lifetime.
Romans 10:10
We believe with our hearts unto righteousness; we confess with our mouths unto salvation. This is not just about salvation from sin; it is about every dimension of our lives.
Hebrews 11:3
The words were framed by God’s word. Engaging the unseen realm is not all about prayers; it includes staying with God’s word until it is actualised. We need to persist in prayers as well as the confession of faith. When darkness covered the whole earth, God began to speak to set things in order. We need to join Him in the creative process by constantly recreating our situations with His word.
