Stewarding God’s Word – Pastor Bola Bello

23RD OCTOBER, 2022

Minister: Pastor Bola Bello

There is an aspect of the riches and glory of the kingdom of God that needs to be considered and that is stewardship of God’s word.

John 1:1
The Word mentioned in the above text talks about God Himself. Any word coming in pure form from the Scripture is God. Riches can only be found in the Scripture because the Word and God cohabit. Likewise, this cohabitation makes the word to potent enough to birth true riches. Therefore, if we want to experience the manifestation of this word, we must be intentional in stewarding it. Many of us are not seeing the manifestation of Gods’ word because we do not steward it appropriately.

Luke 16:1
There are two kinds of riches, namely true riches and false riches. Both have the power to transform the life of a person.

The least God can give to mankind is money. To get true riches, we must be faithful with the little that has been committed into our hands. If we faithfully steward the little given unto us, then greater riches would be committed unto us.

If God requires faithfulness for the little committed unto us, we must know that greater commitment is required for the bigger assignment that might be committed into our hands. The reason why the word has not profited us is because we have not stewarded it as required.

To operate in the supernatural, we must operate with the word of God. If all things are made by the word of God (John 1:3), then we should know that riches are from God.

Psalm 119:105
The word of God is a lamp that gives light and direction to everyone who takes advantage of it. The path of riches is veiled but it takes the word of God to unveil it.

2 Timothy 3:15
The word of God is a message from Him which is usually sent to give us wisdom and direction. Salvation does not just address sin; it encompasses all-round deliverance.

Our default reaction in taking decisions should not be by carnal knowledge; we must learn to engage with the wisdom of God found in the Bible.

It is important for us to walk by faith and not by flesh. No matter the situation, if we interface with the sixty-six books of the Bible, we will have testimonies and breakthroughs.

Each word that comes is labelled and targeted towards an end; we need to steward each word until it produces results. The word of God comes in seasons and it is a body of life that transforms us.

God owns His Word and He is always faithful to it. If we continue in His Word, it will become flesh that we can see and lay hold on. We must never cease to labour and steward God’s word for all round supernatural transformation.
