The will of the Lord can be easy sometimes. At some other points, it seems totally impossible. However, we always need to depend on Him to do His will. That is the only way, we can succeed at it.
Jesus, being our perfect example, found it difficult to do God’s will along the line in His life but God’s grace was sufficient for Him to sail through. In order to be like Jesus, we have to follow Him every step of the way.
We have to remain focused if we must follow Jesus through till the very end. There are several distractions on the way and we must make up our minds never to be lured by them. Distractions can come in the form of trials, tribulations and persecutions. Jesus fixed His gaze on God so that He could become the Author and the Finisher of our Faith.

Our baptism into Christ is an indication that we will pass through tribulations just like Him. We must brace up to weather every storm that comes our ways. It is cheering to know that we have a Comforter in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our pains are to help us console others. With our experiences, we can help people who are troubled and distressed. As we partake in Christ’s sufferings, we shall also partake in His consolation.
Tribulations work patience though the waiting period can be very frustrating. We must persevere till the very end. We need to be patient in order that we might be grounded in Christ.
Afflictions are distractions that come our ways so that we will stop following the Lord. Nevertheless, we must never allow them separate us from Him. We must be stubbornly committed to the course of God so that afflictions will not sway us. In reality, nothing is strong enough to break us away from the love of God.
Afflictions are necessary so that we can know our stand in God. They help to reveal our deficiencies so that we can be built up. They help us to remain steadfast in the Lord. God cannot vouch for you until you have been proved.
