EPHESIANS 6:10-16(NLT): “ 10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we[a] are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.[b] 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.“;

There’s a conflict between the flesh and the spirit because each of them is interested in dominating the other. Humans are the target in this particular fight and those that don’t stand their ground in Christ due to ignorance and unwillingness will become victims. The first thing flesh does for us is to bring weariness.
We need to be strong in God. We can’t do well in the warfare until we have the armour of God. The armour of God is the spiritual parachute for us believers. Without the armour we won’t be enlisted in the army. It is what makes us to be part of the spirit realm. Christ had to become man before he could help man, He needed to put on the nature of flesh before He could operate among men.
Satan has to also put on flesh to operate among men. Satan came into the realm of man through a serpent to deceive man. Spiritual warfare is not of flesh and blood, this battle has nothing to do with fellow humans but the devil. Our warfare is not against humanity. This fight is not a canal fight, we have to fight in the place of prayer. We can’t pray right until we are taught. Our prayers need to have the rudiments of the spirit.
The physical realm is subservient to the spiritual realm. Man has capacity to decide whom to serve, either the devil or Christ. Man is an asset to the spirit world, the desire of the spirit is to inhabit man. That’s to tell us that whoever we yield to takes authority over our lives.
Man is a weapon to the spirit realm. As such, he must be prepared as a soldier. Man must be trained in the art of warfare. We don’t have the luxury to live our lives anyhow. We have to transcend the vain pursuits of bread and butter. God wants to use the base things of the earth to confound the Devil, the ancient wise one.
