Soldiers of Christ

It is important we all pay attention to our walks in life. We are what we are, because of our different dealings. Our dealings are not the same. To become a soldier of Christ is not an easy task; it can be quite hard.

2 Timothy 2:3-5

Hardness is inevitable if you must be a good soldier. We must therefore learn to endure hardness and give up our comfort in order to follow Jesus. You cannot afford to entangle yourself with things that do not add to your faith walk.

The only agenda we have as God’s people is growing into sonship. What you have been summoned to do is higher than you and you must be careful of distraction. No matter where you find yourself, there is only one pursuit, and that is, ‘to find Christ’. That’s our only pursuit and purpose.

We must not get involved with the things that don’t concern us as soldiers of Christ. Don’t pursue agenda God has not committed to you; don’t run a race you are not enlisted for. The only agenda we have is going into sonship, anything thing that does not facilitate that is a waste of precious time.

It is not about feeling good always; it is about you finding Christ and following him with a true and sincere heart.

Isaiah 61:4

The real issue is to be raised into the stature of Christ and that can only be done by the Spirit of Christ.

We have not been called to play church; we have been commissioned to follow Jesus with sincere hearts. We must not allow our influence and affluence hold our souls.

We have been called to build up everything that that been torn down in the Body of Christ. Lives are been destroyed and we must help build them up and let them know about the Kingdom.
