Relationship Between Our Mind And Our Spirit Walk III

PASTOR SEYI OSANYINBI

Walking in the spirit might look very simple, but this is meant to be our original profession. But, people have come to misunderstand the true meaning of walking in the spirit. Moreover, we need to consider the foundational issues of faith before we begin to build structures on it else we would have problems.

Before the modern translation of the Bible, it was recorded that God breathed into the nostrils of man the breath of lives and not a singular life. These lives are the life of the spirit and the life of the soul. When Adam fell, his spirit never ceased to exist, instead it lost the life of God. Life is not just about us breathing because breathing is just a biological proof that we’re living.

When Satan was pushed down to the earth, and he fell into darkness; into a life without God. We cannot definitely be tempted with what we don’t like. Therefore, Satan came up to us with our likes and interest (being able to discern good from evil). The human spirit does not have the same kind of spirit of God. The life of God still needs to breakthrough into us.

The life driven by the soul is sensual. And our soul cannot be quickened instead it grows by renovation and renewal. No human spirit was born perfectly perfect even after being born again. We need to grow by taking the sincere milk of the word until we come into the image of the Father.

There are high things and imaginations that we need to war against and pull down because this is the only way the King of glory can come and establish his kingdom. For instance, things like the thoughts of revenge and unforgiving hearts must be brought down. Faith is not in quantity, it is in willingness.
