Text: Revelation 5:1-13
Everything Jesus went through from the cross to His resurrection constitute the process that made Him prevail and qualified to be able to open the Book of the Seven Seals. Lion represents power and it commands great respect. However, God did not send Jesus Christ as a lion though he was introduced as a lion; He sent Him to the earth in the form of a lamb. He was equipped Him with everything needed to fulfill the divine assignment even as a Lamb.
The key to the victory of Jesus was that He came as a lamb and He was slain. Evil persists on earth when there is no blood to do justice.
The slaying of the Lamb (Jesus) was what delivered us from every accusation of the devil. His blood is what qualifies us to challenge the devices or accusations of the devil. The blood is the victory that was delivered unto us, it is our major tool of warfare (Revelation 12:11). It is the blood of the lamb that was slain that speaks on our behalf in heaven (Revelation 5:13).
The Blood of the Lamb is the price needed to be paid to overcome every accusation of the Evil One; to overcome through the Blood we must always have the attributes of the Lamb.
What makes Christ the Priest is His attitude; He is a Warrior. Though He looks weak on the surface, He is endowed with power to conquer.
