Minister: Pastor Omodele Olubi

Text: Ephesians 2:10

The Glory of God is a big thing and we cannot trap it in one small place. In God’s dealings, He likes to give us foretastes before the real deal. Concerning the subject of glory, there was a glory God had already given us to dominate the earth. However, there is another level of glory that will be revealed to and in us.

We must not forget or disregard God’s work. Every revelation He has given to us is for our good. As such, we must be whole Christians appropriating every work of God.

Ecclesiastes 3:14; Revelations 15:3-5; Psalm 28:5
Whatever God does abides forever; He does things with the big and enduring picture in view. We cannot live life downplaying the works of God. God’s works are ever abiding and we cannot afford to kick against them. Whatever we don’t cherish will always elude us. As such, we must not be flippant with God’s dealings.

It is not enough that God anoints us; we must also know why we are anointed so that we can make the most of it.

2 Corinthians 2:14-17
The glory of God we carry is capable of blessing and damning people based on their dispositions. We then need to be mindful of the way we live our lives among unbelievers.

2 Corinthians 3:1-3
The ministers in Church have the duty of equipping the saints to minister to outsiders. The saints are letters of Christ prepared by the ministers in the Body of Christ.

God loves documentation and that is why He has given us His documented covenants in scriptures to the end that His words are written on our hearts so that we can become epistles. As we become epistles, we have to sustain the progression by administering God’s words to others.

2 Corinthians 3:4-12
God wants us all to know that the administration of His glory is not just for the fivefold minsters. We all must go into the world and come back with testimonies. What God is doing in our lives must rub off on others because God has made us ministers of His glory.

2 Corinthians 3:13-18
The mirror that we look into as believers can be seen as the Old and New Testaments as well as the lives and ministrations of other believers. As we look into this mirror, we transform from one level of glory to another to the point that we become mirrors for others to look at too.

2 Corinthians 4:1-6
As we keep gazing at Christ, we need to drop every cunning and underhanded method of doing things. We do not set out to make undue gain from the gospel and we have to be careful not to allow the devil do us in.

2 Corinthians 4:7-11
As we seek glory, we will pass through inconvenient things that will reinforce us in righteousness. The workings of God would usually require us to pass through hardship.

In summary, for us to exhibit God’s glory, we need to never manipulate people; never preach ourselves and never use our bodies for unrighteous purposes
