PASTOR (MRS) ADEBOLA OSANYINBI
ROMANS 12:1(KJV): “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”;

The former order for atonement was about the high priest going into the Holy of Holies and sprinkling blood but God himself decided to change the order by sending Jesus who is our Ultimate High Priest and He came to shed His blood for our atonement.
God needs us to present ourselves as a living sacrifice and not a dead one. Therefore, we should not present anything of dishonor unto Him. The desire of God for every believer is for us all to know Him. We need to stay in a place where we hear what God has in mind for us. God talks to us every time, but we do not always listen. Instead, we are used to waiting on our pastors or prophets to hear what God is saying on our behalf. The place of intimacy with God is very crucial. We have to be conscious of the things of God.
We must come to a level where journeying with Christ is no more a problem for us. Whatever we plan to achieve can’t be achieved by our own physical strength. We need to come unto God and ask him for instructions. Not knowing the way God communicates with us makes things go wrong in our lives. It is very important for us to pay rapt attention to the way God conveys his messages to us.
GALATIANS 2:20 (KJV): “20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”;
HEBREWS 12:13 (KJV): “13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.”;
II CORINTHIANS 3:3 (KJV): “3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.”;

God provided everything for the children of Israel. They didn’t have to work for themselves. We need to put our hearts into God since He has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness. We need to commit ourselves to the Lord, fear and serve Him sincerely and truly.
When we embrace Christ, our lives would be pleasant because we are doing what pleases God. When God chastises us, we should take it as part of the dealings of Christ. The dealings of God is not always pleasant but it brings forth good fruit at the end of the whole process. The dealings of God straighten our lives and cause us to check ourselves whenever it seems we are deviating from Him.
