Text: Ezekiel 37:1-10
There is no one that has never experienced the valley of dry bones. It will always happen one way or the other and it is for us to know the Lord God and see how He deals with our problems. The bones in the Book of Ezekiel were not just dry; they were very dry. This suggests that they must have been there for quite a very long time. This is how some of our problems are: they aged and they defy solutions. It may look like there is never going to be a way out.
We need to realize that we are not supposed to cry over problems all the time; Ezekiel was told to speak to the dry bones and that was all that was needed to turn things around. There are some mountains erected by demonic entities to limit us but God expects that we take charge and deal with these particular problems rather than wait for Him to solve them for us because He has given us such powers. Jesus will not speak to them on our behalf, He expects us to deal with them decisively.
There is no situation or circumstance that can ever refuse the word of the Lord. The issue, however, is that many of us are not acquainted with what God has said concerning the particular situations we are facing. If you don’t have the word of the Lord in your mouth, what are you going to say to the mountains? If the word of the Lord is not in your mouth, what promises are you going to lay hold on to prophesy?
Creation does not respond to anything except the word of the Lord. It doesn’t respond to any human philosophies, traditions, family laws, etc. It only responds to that which God has said. So, when you begin to speak in the name of Jesus, it will be like Jesus Himself is speaking.
God will not come and remove the mountain we are supposed to remove. If we don’t take the necessary actions, we will remain where we are, no matter how much tears we cry over situations.
Our problems are usually in layers. As such, we have to start dealing with them one after the other. Some of us are under attack because of sin. So, we need to check ourselves and be sure that our problems are not results of disobedience or rebellion.
