Day 1: The Purposeful Woman (Session 2)

PASTOR (MRS) JENNIFER DAWODU

Do not miss your place of calling. Watch out for some simple things. That is where your God is.

[biblegateway passage=”GENESIS 2:18-20″ display=”GENESIS 2:18-20″], [biblegateway passage=”PROVERBS 31:10″ display=”PROVERBS 31:10″]

God is perfect. But we see in Genesis, that He would still look at all He had done and evaluate them. He called them good. The appearance of a woman started in Genesis. There was a detailed explanation of how the woman came to be. Everything about the earth was perfect but for the first time God looked at His creation and said, “This is not good” because the woman was not there.

We are complete, we are unique. We fulfil the mandate of God for our lives.

The trend of the world now is not what we should follow. We should be comfortable in what who God desires us to be. We do not have to compete with men, to be who they are and have what they are. We are not the same. Do not desire something that is outside God’s purpose for your life.

There is a search for a purposeful character. Do we have virtuous women in this generation?

The purposeful woman has confidence in her Creator. She loves her God with all her heart and soul. She understands her purpose in the life of a man. She understands and connects to the Love of Jesus in her heart.

Women of purpose are faithful to the end. They stay in their duty post. They are lovers of the Cross.

She speaks the truth always. She knows how to abide in the present of God. She has positioned herself into God’s beauty. She understands what is called covenant. She is quick to kneel. She prays. She celebrates the reason is still alive (Heaven still needs her).
