The subject of the glory and the riches of God is inexhaustible. Psalm 19:1 says the heavens declare the glory of the Lord. As such, everything we see speaks about God. The book of Genesis helps us envision God’s Creation very vividly.
Glory is a weight filled with beauty and splendor. The glory of God will always radiate if we continue to walk in the ways of the Lord. Genesis spoke of a time when the earth was empty and formless. As such, God called things that did not exist into existence.
There are different dimensions and levels of glory. The glories of the sun, moon, and stars differ but they all point to God who takes us from one level of glory to another as we keep following Him.
The Lord desires freedom and unity in the Church; this freedom is found in the Gospel of Christ which did not come on a platter of gold. Jesus came to deliver us from the bondage that held us in darkness.
God loves the world and gave us his son for us to have and express the glory seen in Him (John 3:16). However, in expressing the glory seen in Jesus, sometimes we need to fight for it to come into manifestation.
The battles of God’s glory start from us receiving and retaining the love of God in our hearts. Satan will always come to distract us from focusing on God so that we can always be under his stronghold.
The Church is meant to exhibit the glory, love, and eminence of God. This process is usually made difficult because of the many struggles around us. 2 Corinthians 4:3,4 shows us that the gospel is hidden from some people because of the blindness of the mind by the god of this world.
Philippians 2:2-5 & 1 Corinthians 1:10 show us the will of God for us to be together and not be divided. If we are not of one mind, it is difficult for our prayers to ascend unto God. Satan usually attacks us with disunity and we need to guard against this.
1 Peter 3:9,10 shows us how to overcome division. Love helps us see good days and keep the bond of peace despite Satan’s accusations against us.
Jesus came to demonstrate the glory and power of God (Matthew 2:16). At His birth, the wise men told Herod about the star they saw. That brought up antagonism against the baby Jesus and the angel of God had to come for his deliverance.
Matthew 3:16-4:2
Satan never relented over Jesus. He tempted Jesus so that he would lose focus. Jesus loves and is concerned about us. None of those that the Father gave Him was lost except the son of perdition. At the Cross, Jesus did not mind losing his life in order for us to come to glory.
Satan wants us in perpetual darkness. Many are in darkness and they do not know it. We need discernment so that we can come into the light of God.
We face the battles of the glory of God every moment. However, we need to consistently reject darkness so that we can always be victorious and attain unto glory at last.
