Text: Matthew 7: 21 – 27

Lawlessness is one of the signs of the end time. People now do what they like and do it however they like. They walk in iniquity, not bound by any law. Lawlessness is no longer a thing of a local area but has become a global experience hence an indication that the antichrist has come. The antichrist system aims to break the restraints that God has put in place to control human behaviour, which is the government. Without government, there is going to be a complete breakdown of law and order. The present world system is that which supports living in convenience and practicing iniquity. Unfortunately, we cannot be workers of iniquity and expect to make it to heaven.

We are gradually moving towards the end but the sad thing is that majority of us are not prepared. Prophecies are playing out right before our eyes but we seem not to be able to interpret the signs and seasons.

Everything you do while you live should be towards entering the kingdom of God. Therefore, if you are not doing anything to make that a reality, then you are not doing anything meaningful in life. You must cultivate the habit of ‘doing’ and not just hearing (James 1: 22). If the men of old fell into the trap of hearing alone, we also stand the chance to fall victim of it. However, the grace of God that has appeared to us is capable of helping us do the will of God (Titus 2:12). God’s reward system does not operate by the amount of revelation you have in your heart but by how obedient you are to His will and instructions that you have heard. Therefore, diligently see to it that you always do the will of God in all your endeavours.
