Warfare of the Kingdom Day 3 Evening Session by Pastor Bola Bello

Warfare is all about conflict and hostility. Spiritual warfare is not just all about fighting for space, it is also a fight for expression, allowing God to be expressed through us. There is really no vacant possession of any space. All space is occupied; whether air, sea or land. Man must occupy space, therefore our invasion is required. Revelation 12:10 – It does not really matter whether one legitimately owns a place or not, the occupant can be overthrown by a stronger contender if such is not strong enough.

Again, it doesn’t matter if a place has been given to you as an inheritance; if you are not strong enough, someone else could contend with you for that place and displace you. This is why Paul said we should be strong in Ephesians 6:10. The word “strong” refers to being equipped with the resources of the Lord. Only the resources of the Lord can equip a man, not the resource of any man.

Luke 11:21 – 22 This convocation is organised to strengthen us against invasions as we need knowledge because we can only put upon ourselves the armour of God if we know that there is an armour. Spiritual warfare is real. There is usually an invasion in the course of our daily activities.
We need to equip ourselves on a daily basis. We should take advantage of any program that is put together for us. This meeting for one has been put together to strengthen us against invasion. As far as we are in the faith, there will always be an invasion. We don’t know that we are under siege because we are not sensitive.
Many of us turn back in the days of trouble. If we are always turning back at any little invasion, how can we fight against bigger challenges? We must always ensure that we keep equipping ourselves until we are strong enough to overcome any invasion.

Warfare is about the fight or struggle for ownership between two opposing parties. Deut 2:22
There is no free gift from God, not even grace. There is always something required of us to enter into any level of grace. Everyone can access grace when we do what is required; it’s a matter of contention.
Gal 3:17 The contention we have is against the flesh. We need to ground ourselves in the scriptures because spiritual warfare requires us to immerse ourselves in fellowship.

There are various degrees of the spiritual warfare. For David and Saul, it was about the kingdom of Israel. 2 Samuel 2:1. The house of David became stronger and stronger because of the kind of tools that he used.
To be able to fight effective warfare in the Lord, we need to learn some spiritual protocol. Until we understand the art of Kingdom warfare, we might not be able to fight our own personal warfare. Matthew 13:19

Matthew 13: 25 – 27 The greatest battle we are faced with is the battle against those who claim to be friends of the church but help satan propagate his agenda. We must become a safeguard for one another. It gives us a safe landing and helps to preserve our futures and destinies. We shouldn’t just fold our hands and watch people do damage to the body of Christ because it is not any one’s work but God’s. Until we begin to see the Kingdom of God as our responsibility and our Father’s work, we would just never see the need to fight for its good. It takes a single-eyed person to make it far on this journey and finish well.

Matthew 6: 23. Singleness of eye manifests itself in the kind of things we seek. We need to be focused on Him who is the author and finisher of our faith. When we seek the Kingdom, whatever things we need in Christ would be given unto us.
