Have you ever asked yourself such questions as, “Why does calamity befall the righteous?” Some assume that because you are in the will of God, you will not fall into trouble, but trouble is part of our being human. Irrespective of our circumstances, the Greater One lives on the inside. Many of us seem to forget this because He is quiet and seems unconcerned.
The Bible says, “The Name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run to it and are saved” This, Jehoshaphat did when three nations came against him. He ran into the House of the Lord. There is no other place to run in times of trouble.

There are certain things that by now, God expects you to know. You must be willing to take responsibility for the things happening around you. Be sure to take every opportunity to learn to control of the winds of life. From there, you begin to advance into rebuking spiritual winds. Jesus taught his disciples how to speak to mountains. Faith speaks. You don’t rebuke mountains- you command them.
We have already established that problems are part of human nature. Satan has a mandate to sift men. How will God be glorified if you don’t have victory over what is pulling men down? How will the world know that you carry something superior unless you have a “push”? Jesus wants men to marvel at us and ask like they did about Him, “What manner of man is this?” You must ask God to teach you how to speak to and how to command circumstances.
