If we are grateful for what the Lord has been doing in our lives, we will get more light from God. At times, the Devil makes us to have less regard and recognition for the experiences that God is taking us through. No matter how sophisticated a knowledge or experience is, it becomes vain if it is not taken with gratitude from God. We have to begin to see God beyond the spectacular and in the spectacular. Can we be grateful to God for the past workings of His in our lives? Can we thank God for a privilege of the certainty of His promises?

We have to acknowledge that we are mortal men. Many of us acknowledge science, politicians and other men more than we acknowledge God. That is an error in itself because it is in God that we live, move and have our being. We need to acknowledge God in all our ways so that He can make our paths straight.

There are some experiences in the Spirit that we will never like to disengage from. There is much more fun in the Spirit than we can ever imagine. Engaging your spirit is more fun than engaging the flesh. There are unlimited pleasures in the presence of God. It is common to find people who find pleasure in food, drink and women. However, there are unending pleasures in God.

Milk does not require to much of judgment. The word ‘babes’ can be used in two senses,

1. Those who are meek and of a contrite heart. Interestingly, they are the real matured people in the things of God.

2. Those who are immature in the things of the Spirit. They cannot digest strong meat, they are confined to milk.

The mature person is the one that cannot mistake good for evil; they have light. We can’t have validations anymore in the flesh. We must come of age such that we discern accurately. Maturity comes when our judgment becomes accurate; when we can choose rightly. When we don’t follow a multitude to do evil.

God is raising strange fellows in the earth; people whose choices will confuse people because those choices don’t make sense to men. A man’s choices are a reflection of his heart. Moses, though raised in Pharaoh’s palace, got to a point where he began to make mature choices. He began to prefer the greater riches of Christ to the treasures of Egypt.

As we go unto perfection, we will get to levels where we make accurate judgments that will show the texture of our souls as we grow into men of finer heart texture.

Simon and Anna were very weird people; their fulfillment was found in the birthing of the Messiah. They fasted and prayed intently for the salvation of Israel which crystallized in the birth of the Messiah-Jesus.

Abraham had to move into uncertainty at some point in his walk with God. The process of our movement into maturity is the prerogative of God. It is not likely that we will know what the whole process entails well ahead of time.

The Church that will come into perfection will be about apostolic networks rather than congregations. It will not be a competitive lot. God is bringing us to apostolic companies, communities and relationships. We introduce witchcraft in the Church each time we borrow from the philosophies of men. Our biggest motivation should be the workings of God in our lives.

The coming of Isaac was not all about Abraham. Abraham wanted a son but God wanted a perpetual generation. Abraham, despite his riches, had a desire for a city whose builder is God Himself. He desired to see more of God. The motivation for Abraham was the promise of God to him. In the same way, God has made us promises but the promises are not our lives. God is more concerned about the fulfillment of His promises in our lives than we even are. Abraham tried to help God fulfill His promise but that only succeeded in shutting down communication between him and God for thirteen solid years.

After thirteen years, God appeared to Abraham and instructed him to walk before Him perfectly. We cannot come into true perfection until we have a true revelation of the the Father. If you cannot see clearly who God is, you cannot walk perfectly before Him. Coming into perfection will require a sustainable revelation of the Father.

God is looking for a company of people who can preserve His presence; people who can walk without faltering. God wants a company of people who have the frequency of judgment of light. When we walk in the light, we will never linger in darkness.
