Faith is a spiritual resource with which God has blessed us in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. The evidence and the proof of a healthy faith is the testimony that emanates from it. Faith must have proof, result or evidence. It is very pathetic that the church today has taken the evidence of faith to be carnal things. Faith comes by hearing, faith therefore goes forth by utterance. To utter is to declare things that have been kept secret.
The testimony of Jesus does not come from man. It comes from God. There is an utterance of the Father for which we have been given capacity to declare. The gift of utterance is a powerful resource because a closed mouth is a closed destiny. Ignorance is responsible for not been able to utter the things that have been written concerning us.
God ordained man to come into the forum where he can be a party to the Father’s utterance. We have been ordained to be God’s oracles. You cannot speak on God’s behalf unless you stay in His presence. The realm of utterance is the realm of light. Utterances come with light. God is the Father of Light. The Holy Spirit illuminates us in the realm of light.
Intimacy with the Father will make us build enough faith to the point that we can begin to utter words that redefine the course of life. That will help fulfill our mandate as oracles of God. We are God’s mouthpiece to the world!
