GENESIS 38:27-29(KJV): “27 And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb. 28 And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first. 29 And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.”

Pharez’s breakthrough did not begin with outward manifestations, instead it began with positioning. We need to take the accurate positions we ought to take now, if not, there would be little or nothing we can do in the seasons of manifestation. The phrase “break through” is an action phrase and not a noun phrase. We don’t just want to keep hearing words and have some experiences; we want to receive mandates to break through into difficult situations. An experience of breakthrough was recorded in the Bible when Tamar was pregnant with Twins for Judah and Pharez broke forth in place of his brother Zerah. In Israel, the first-born position is very important. Our first experience for breakthrough is going to be as a result of our positioning not about our manifestations.
Grace is not only just about activity, it is also about positioning. It is allotted to us at the level of our capacity and ability. For instance, David positioned himself and this made God to release words into his life that gave him the kingship of Israel forever. Of course, the breakthrough we experience now is a function of the breakthrough we pressed for in the past.
If we do not break through in positioning, we cannot go far. One dimension of breakthrough is being able to access the things God has made available to us. Another dimension of breakthrough is an outward manifestation of what has been deposited in our lives overtime.
Break through is our ability to manifest our inward life and grace. God has taken years to invest in us great things, and he wants to make them manifest. A woman cannot be pregnant forever. We don’t have to be in Church for too long before we can manifest God’s Glory in our lives.
