ACTS 19:1(KJV): “And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples”;
JOHN 4:35(KJV): ” 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”
Jesus told us to lift up our eyes and look on to the fields for the harvest meaning that we should learn to go into all strata of civilization to harvest people. The harvest has always been ripe immediately Jesus commissioned us.
For every audience there is a different way to present the gospel to them. The problem is that we don’t have the proper sight to see where people stand in the spiritual realm. Your job might just be to cast down spiritual strong holds and then someone else would preach to a particular person. The church gathering is meant to equip us to go out to do the work of the ministry.
We need to be skillful in order to harvest the nations. We cannot afford to be unlearned. We need to rely on the Holy Spirit to give us the right skill mix in engaging the nations. In these times of pitch darkness on the earth, we have to step up our games so that we can be efficient in taking the nations.
