The Harvest (Day 7: Closing Session II)

REV. KAYODE OYEGOKE

EPHESIANS 4:8: Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.”;

EPHESIANS 2:1-2: ” And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience”;

I JOHN 3:8: ” He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”;

COLOSSIANS 1:8-11: ” Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit. 9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness” ;

Good work is tied to fruitful work. You have not won a soul when you get someone born again. You have only brought the soul to God for salvation because only the Spirit is saved at the initial time. Gifts help to capture and captain people. Gifts confer charisma. It is not enough to have the Spirit within (wine), there is need for the Spirit upon (oil) before one steps into ministry. The Spirit upon confers authority. When you are not sent and you step out into ministry, the realm of evil spirits open upon you and you can become a casualty.

There are no workings except by walk. To disobey God takes a power, it takes a prince which is at work inside. We can bring people to church, get their spirits saved and they may still find it convenient to walk in disobedience. Only God can stop the workings of Satan. Your outward state many a time can never tell your real state. Lazarus was impoverished in the flesh but after his death he was taken to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man died and ended in misery. The salvation of the soul does not start when you die. The state of your soul is determined when you are in the flesh. We should not play with fruit bearing. It is possible to be a child of God while your soul is not a child of God.

I JOHN 2:27-29: ” But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.”;

 II PETER 1:4: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

When you believe with your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead that is righteousness. Nothing is called work in the face of death except life is produced. The work that a dead man produces cannot please God. What God has offered as a remedy for our justification is just. When Jesus was raised from the dead righteousness was established. The new order of righteousness became righteousness after life. You became born again when you believed. When you are doing righteousness, your soul is being born. Your soul is not purified at new birth because all you did was believe, you had not obeyed. That belief is orchestrated by the Holy Spirit. Beyond that point, obedience of the faith has to follow. Righteousness is truth, it is life. Ability to do truth has been put in our spirits but the soul has to be brought into doing truth. The mind is the upstairs of the soul. The renewal of the mind is part of the salvation of the soul.

Anyone who has the characteristics of the word will live and abide in the word. We need the incorruptible seed to be born in our souls. Corruptible seeds are things that come from the world system which lies in wicked. Everything the world represents steps out of corruption. When we listen to words that make us see the horizon of the world alone, our sight will be impaired and we will not be able to see afar. Corruptible seeds are tougher than our souls so we have to be innocent in handling God’s word. Corruptible seeds produce life that is limited, life that does not go beyond this realm. The soul prospers when we are able to see beyond the present time. Not to see beyond the present time is to cut our lives short. If you have desire for the incorruptible life you have to get into the word which is a dispenser of incorruptible seeds.

ROMANS 1:16-18(NKJV): For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,[a] for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness;

I PETER 1:4(NKJV): “To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you”

The just who is living by faith is the doer of righteousness. Righteous words are faith words. Someone who is living righteously on earth is living a revealed life. Teachers who teach revelations are not teaching doctrines, they are teaching the revealed life. The revealed life is the doctrine of the new man. A man who walks by faith is the one who lives a revealed life. Anything that is not revealed is under Satan. Revelation is an importation which brings the things that are reserved for the soul.

God stores the things which we should hear in a heavenly atmosphere. We have to hear those words for faith to be generated. We cannot have peace if we do not live by faith. Anytime you live by faith you are justified. Revelations show us patterns of resurrection. We need teachers who can teach the resurrection, who can teach the life, who can teach the life of the living man. The end of righteousness is peace ([biblegateway passage=”Romans 14:17″ display=”Romans 14:17″]).

II CHRONICLES 15:3:  For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law”;

COLOSSIANS 1:10:  that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God”;

I JOHN 1:1-5: That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your[a] joy may be full.”

Teaching priests are needed in the Holy Place. They are responsible for good works. I cannot be good in my soul without revelation. Faith is good, without good conscience you will shipwreck it. To have the hope of glory, Christ must be in you. You are good when Christ is in you. It is Christ in your soul, not in your spirit. Paul was called to present everyone perfect unto God. To do this, he had to make sure Christ was formed in them. Christ is not formed when you are born again. Christ is formed by words. The good work is that the word being spoken is changing us though we do not see anything in the physical.

When you live by faith and finish the course of faith, you have to abide. Paul is a minister of the Holy Place, John the Apostle is a minister of both the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. Paul can make you a young man in the Spirit while John can make you both a young man and a father. For us to inherit God we need to walk by faith. Life eternal is to know God and His Son that he has sent. The first harvest is into the Outer Court, the second is into the Holy Place (the place of power) and the last is into the Most Holy Place (the place of glory). Jesus is the Power of God who wants to bring every man unto the Glory that is God Himself. Power and Glory represent the Christ and God. They are the Ultimate Harvesters and they have to harvest us from one level of glory to another.
