Harvest does not take place until we obtain judicial permission to invade. There are some things we cannot do until heaven moves. Israel could not take Jericho until it was cleared in heaven. The difference between a believer and an unbeliever is that the believer has access to the throne. The arguments you marshal in the courts of heaven can only hold water if you’re righteous. The blood of Jesus was shed to cleanse us from every unrighteousness. So, we have the locus standi to appear in the courts of heaven by the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus clears the grounds of accusation for believers. There are three heavens known to man: the Third Heaven where God dwells; the Second Heaven where fallen spirits are and the First Heaven visible to man. Man cannot access the second and third heavens without invitation. Portals have to be opened for man to access those realms.
REVELATION 3:7: “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;”
Gates and doors are portals and the key of David can open them all. We must not be afraid of advancing in the things of God because He has promised to lead and guide us. When man fell, a portal was shut. There was no longer free traffic between divinity and humanity. Every pathway leads to a gate/portal. When man fell and the portal leading to divinity was shut, he began to look for ways to reach the heavens. Along the line, man began to have access to the second heaven thereby opening the portal for demons to invade the earth.
There are no doors of any realm that the keys of David cannot open. Authorities cannot be granted to lions but lambs. A lamb never resists even at the point of slaughter. A lamb will follow the shepherd anywhere. Jesus says what I see my father do, I do. Jesus was a typical picture of a genuine lamb. A portal is the gateway for man. They are pathways. Every time the third heavens break into our realm, miracles happens. Adam’s sin opened the portals of the second heavens and gave access to demons to operate here on earth.
Men open portals through different means, namely
- Sacrifices: Blood has always been the most powerful means of opening portal. By blood sacrifice, one can open portals. For a man to stand before God, he must be a priest. The reason God open the portals for Abraham was simply because of his sacrifice. Any sacrifice that cannot cost you anything, cannot open the portals for you.
- Consecration open the portals for man. God commanded the Israelites to consecrate themselves so they could meet with Him (Exodus 19:10,11).
- Offerings: You can kill the Devil with offerings. As a result of the sacrifice of Noah, God changed His mind about destroying the world. God went further to make a rainbow covenant with Him.
- Communion: The Holy Communion opens portals for us.
- Prayers: For God to come down and get men saved, we need to pray.
Only priests have access to the courts of heaven. Gaining access to heaven distinguishes a man in the long run. Solomon offered one thousand burnt offerings and God had to respond. Also, Balaam in his compromise and lust for gain sacrificed several bullocks and God showed Himself to him.
ROMANS 12:1: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
You must deprive yourself of some earthly pleasures. If there is a demand on you to give up on some things, you must not be afraid to give them up because you are a living sacrifice. A living sacrifice no longer seeks its own things. The fact that a man is born again does not mean that he has given his life to God totally. The only way we can find rest for our souls is to learn of Him. Every action of every part of the body has a ripple effect on the whole body. Every believer must understand that everything he/she does has an effect on the universal Church no matter how small those actions are. There are locations where portals are readily opened to one realm or the other. There are locations where demons are readily in operation. We also have locations where God can be readily connected.
