The mystery of godliness is working within us so that we can trap Divinity in the flesh. There is always the mind of God for the Local Assembly. He also has things to tell the Regional, National and Global Churches. We are in a time of global crises and the Church has to take a strategic spiritual position. The gate of hell is literally upon the earth and the Church has got to rise up to responsibility.
MATTHEW 24
Men’s heart will fail them in these times of terrorism, global warming and economic depression. We will not be able to walk in faith when our hearts fail. The enemy is generating a lot of fear on the earth in order to cripple the Faith of Jesus and the Love of God. We need to take our stand so that we will not disappoint God. If we do not take an accurate spiritual posture, we will mess up the purposes of God.
We must get into the rest of God. We must enter the Sabbath rest. We need to come into the place of the Constitution of the Law of the Sabbath. The Law of the Sabbath cannot be decoded without revelation by the activities of the Seven Spirits of the Lord.
ISAIAH 11:1,2
The Spirit of the Lord causes the turning of the hearts. The Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding downloads the revelation of the Lord. We need Counsel and Might to empower us to bring to bear the revelations we get. We need the Spirit of Knowledge and the Fear of the Lord to tie up everything. We cannot come into maturity without the Fear of the Lord. Maturity is rest. Moses, having obeyed all of God’s instructions, lacked the Fear of the Lord and he could not enter into rest. He did not sanctify God in his heart.
Why will a man that was the meekest on the earth not enter the Promised Land? He had spectacular experiences that we all desire but he did not enter into rest. The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord is necessary for anyone to handle the sceptre of God’s Kingdom. We need to journey with the Lord consistently for Him to bring us into His fear.
HEBREWS 4:1
It is possible to come short of the promise of entering into God’s rest if we do not fear. The essence of the Church is to generate the Fear of God on the earth. There is a Holy Fear that should be birthed in the Church as we get closer to the end of the age. In the early Church, there was so much fear that no one dared join them. The Enemy is generating so much fear on the earth in order to lure away people from God. Fear is a cloud that human souls are under.
We are in a season of great travail upon the earth and we cannot pray it away. The Church is expected to come into the Holy Fear of God so that we can hasten into rest. In the midst of the crises and conflicts on the earth the Gospel of the Kingdom has to be preached. It will no longer suffice to preach the Gospel of Salvation. To walk in God’s Fear is to be bold unlike the fear of the Devil that makes one timid. It is the fear of the Lord that makes us approach boldly the Throne of Grace not presumption.
HEBREWS 10:19
By Jesus’ blood, we have boldness and access to the Holiest of All. Entering the Holiest of All is entering into rest. The Fear of the Lord institutes boldness. Israel was called to enter into the Land of Promise. We have been called to enter into Christ, into perfection. Israel could not enter into their promise because they feared the Anakims instead of God.
Though we are living in the evil days, God wants us to survive and thrive. We can only be preserved by entering into rest. We can only enter into rest by the Fear of the Lord. What we call fear is different from what God calls fear. We need to be taught fear. We need to be raised and built up by the Spirit of Fear. No one can enter into God’s Kingdom without godly fear.
We will be able to do the will of God; we will be able to come into all of God through His Fear. We have always prayed for the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding; we have always prayed for the Spirit of Counsel and Might; it is now time to pray for the Spirit of Knowledge and of the Fear of the Lord.
God wants to bring His fear into our hearts so that we will not fear what men fear. We will fear all manners of useless things if we do not fear God. Revival tarries because men don’t fear God. The Fear of God makes men depart from evil. When the very Church lacks the Fear of God, evil prevails and God seems dormant. If you want revival, simply, Fear God!
